We watched a "Thanksgiving Movie" last night that made me all the more thankful for my own family. The House of Yes was a truly beautiful film though. I loved it, and I want to see the play it was based on sometime. Awkward boys, incest, weird parents, murder, and The Kennedys - what's not to love? And who knew that Freddie Prinze Jr. could actually act?

Today I will be cleaning house, watching Charlie Brown Thanksgiving with That Sprout, and cooking things to take to my friend Beth's house for her Thanksgiving feast. A Thanksgiving Feast, which was supposed to be for all the single soldiers who stayed in town for the holiday, all of whom bailed at the last minute. No matter. We shall eat ALL THE FOOD.

Happy Hanukkah!

Today is the first day of Hanukkah, and as such we begin the lead up to The 2nd Annual First Person Narrative Extended Play Advent Calendar. Hanukkah falls early this year, and Thanksgiving falls late, so here we are. Don't call me preemptive, they've been playing Christmas music on the radio since November 1st. To celebrate the first day of The Festival of Lights, I give you Adam Sandler with The Hanukkah Song! As for me, I'm watching some Thanksgiving movies and doing a bit of light house keeping. Happy Hanukkah!
